The American Sail Training Association (ASTA) is a Rhode Island-based, non-profit organization dedicated to enriching youth education through character building and leadership development experiences aboard tall ships. Founded in 1973, ASTA represents more than 250 American and international sailing vessels and is the largest sail training association in the world. Our national mission is to encourage character building through sail training, to promote sail training to the North American public, and to support education opportunities under sail.

The Milwaukee Public Museum, a not-for-profit organization operated by Milwaukee Public Museum, Inc., is an institution of human and natural history providing a dynamic and stimulating environment for learning. The Museum interprets the world's cultural and natural heritage through the integration of exhibits, education, collections and research. MPM holds its collections as a public trust and is dedicated to their preservation for the enrichment of present and future generations.

We provide a museum and operate ecotours to view research film and photograph great White Sharks, to educate the public about their role in our world

Save The Bay is the oldest and largest membership organization working exclusively to protect and restore San Francisco Bay and its watershed. Save The Bay's 10,000 members work with our staff and volunteers to protect the Bay from today's threats - pollution and sprawl.

Making our maritime heritage and culture accessible to our young people and creating opportunities for them to have a real voice in our martime future
