Hydrothermal vent snail

Suiyo Seamount, Tokyo Hydrothermal Vent. This snail inhabits deep-sea hydrothermal vents and harbors chemoautotrophic symbionts in its gills. This individual is probably a new species, and only a single specimen has been discovered to date. Where are its peers?
